Who qualifies for TechCred

These are the state's general employer eligibility requirements. Confirm current details at development.ohio.gov/techcred before applying.

Eligible

Registered with the Ohio Secretary of State
Physical, non-residential business location in Ohio
Ohio-resident W-2 employees, reported to Ohio unemployment insurance (ODJFS), with Ohio income tax withheld
Current or prospective employees; any industry or size
One application per employer (FEIN) per window

Not eligible

1099 contractors
Public entities
Employers exempt from Ohio UI or withholding reporting

Apply Oct 1 to 30

Apply at development.ohio.gov/techcred and select "Credential Not Listed" for the AI & Culture Integration Certificate Program. The TechCred Review Panel determines eligibility for this round.

If approved, enroll & pay

Enroll your team and submit payment to Human First AI Consulting.

Train your team

Employees complete the self-paced program and each earns a certificate.

Request reimbursement

Follow the state's reimbursement instructions after training is complete.

Common questions about TechCred

Is the AI & Culture Integration Certificate Program currently on the TechCred eligible list?

Not yet. Human First AI Consulting is a TechCred eligible training provider, but credentials are added to the eligible list only when an employer requests them by selecting "Credential Not Listed" on their own TechCred application, and the TechCred Review Panel approves it.

How much can be reimbursed through TechCred?

Reimbursement amounts and rules are set by the State of Ohio and can change between application windows. Check development.ohio.gov/techcred for current details. We are not able to interpret TechCred rules or advise on an employer's application.

When is the next TechCred application window?

TechCred runs several application windows a year. Confirm current dates at development.ohio.gov/techcred.

What happens if the credential isn't approved for this window?

You're welcome to apply again during a future window. We can also work with your team outside of TechCred; request pricing to enroll directly.

Do you help fill out the TechCred application?
